Anyway, I've been trying to work on several written pieces for story ideas, but each of them has failed. It's like, the moment I try to write the second chapter, I suddenly lose the motivation to write. It's either because I don't think it's good enough or because it isn't good enough. Crappy choices, eh?
Everytime I try and think what kind of story my reader would like, I suddenly think about Twilight and that whole shindig. I don't like Twilight. I thought it was pretty good at first, but there are hundreds of other great books out there that deserve just as much attention.
I mean, what's the big deal? A girl falls in love. With a vampire. OH MY GAWD! Geez, what happened to 'a meaning within a meaning'? What happened to symbolisim? What happened to actually having a story to tell. I'm glad that Twilight hasn't one any major awards yet. It's just stupid to base a story on something that won't lead anywhere.
I give my congratz to Meyer, though. I don't know anybody who can write four entire books about one stupid girl going through a pubesent roller coaster ride.
I know a lot of people are going to kill me for this, but hey. It's a free country... Depending on where you come from, that is.
Please, somebody tell me I'm not the only one who dislikes Twilight!!!
